There are a couple of ways.

If the cell is a large multi cellular organism, than it is most likely a eukaryotic cell.

If the cell contains a nucleus, it is definitely a eukaryotic cell.

If the cell contains many organelles such as mitochondria, vacuoles or lysosomes, then it is definitely a eukaryotic cell. What is the simplest way to tell if a cell is a prokaryotic cell or a eukaryotic cell?
Check to if it has a nucleus and cellular organelles. Nucleus is easy to stain and spot under the microscopeWhat is the simplest way to tell if a cell is a prokaryotic cell or a eukaryotic cell?
by the shape. eukaryotic cells are round, oval shapes. Prokaryotic are usually squarish or rectangular
