No stds, not pregnant... what's up?I'm 18. My pap smear results were abnormal and i have a high white cell count. What's wrong?
You will have to re-test in a few weeks. High white cells could mean that you were sick and your body was combatting the virus or bacteria. Also, in some cases, high white cell count could be an indication of cancer or AIDS.

Your obstetrician should have told you when they called to give you the results of your test. I suggest calling the office back and asking them what's going on.I'm 18. My pap smear results were abnormal and i have a high white cell count. What's wrong?
High white cell count means that your immune system is great and will easily fight off infections :)
White cells indicate an infection of some sort. Didn't your doctor give you further information?

All the best.
