What is the rule on personal cell phones in your office?

I work in a small office and we all keep our personal cell phones on all day and answer them when we get a call. I am just wondering what the rest of the world is doing now that cell phones are so popular.

I personally don't keep mine on in the office I think it's rude to the other employees. You are suppose to be working not taking personal phone calls all day, leave it on vibrate so you can tell someone called you but let it go to voice and get back to them on breaks or lunch.
I'm in a small office of 5 sales People an me , we all keep our cells on , an answer them as we see fit !What is the rule on personal cell phones in your office?
if its not intrusive to others it should be allowed. My office is OK with it.
i work as a temp in a big company and soon to become permanent and they dont seem to have a problem with our using our cell phones at work... only problem is that most people have annoying really loud ringtones that can be distracting when you trying to work.



people can use cell phones as they want but should also learn to tun down the ringing volume during working hours!!!
