What is the best prepaid cell phone available for short term?

I am planning on visiting Cambridge, MA for 3 months from Japan. What's the best prepaid cell phone for me just for 3 months in that area? I would be using my cell only for local call for less than 30 min. a month, no text, no e-mailing, no web surfing. As far as I research, Virgin Mobile is good? Or Trac Fone?? Any other prepaid phones you would suggest?What is the best prepaid cell phone available for short term?
Trac Fone or Net 10 are honestly probably your best bet. You can get a good quality phone for cheap, and you usually get around 300 minutes for free.



They both use a major wireless company towers, so you souldn't have to worry abut poor reception.



The important thing to remember is keeping up with the expiration date for your minutes. As long as you buy a new card before your minutes expire, they will roll over for the next month. I'm pretty sure that both of these companies offer a plan that will last you for 90 days.



The more minutes you buy at once, the cheaper the price for each individual minute. Do not pay more than 10 cents a minute.
