I mean, what is it that allows a living cell to perform functions while a dead cell cannot? Aren't they the same, chemically?What distinguishes living cells from dead cells? Why does a living cell function and a dead cell doesn't?
i am not qualified to answer this question but
my logical answer is... its dead duh
but i assume it lacks atp or something
then i suppose if it had died from apoptosis it is no longer a cell but nutrients altogether
again not tchnically qualified
