How would the nucleus of a cell relate to the residents of a house?

I have a Biology project in process, and I'm sort of stuck on this one question. We were instructed to create our own analogy between the organelles of an animal cell and a house. The nucleus is one of the organelles required to relate to a characteristic of a home, and I figured it would best fit as the occupants. The nucleus is what controls the organelles, much like how people control their household appliances. However, the nucleus also holds genetic information of the cell. How could people hold the genetic information of their home?

Thank you in advance for any input. :)How would the nucleus of a cell relate to the residents of a house?
I would actually compare it to a computer/library. It contains all the information, but it's up to the occupants to get the proper information and use it (like tRNA or mRNA).

Occupants themselves, however, could be said to hold the genetic information because they have the knowledge as to how the house must be run. An oven won't churn out dinner by itself - it requires steps to be performed on its behalf. All the chromosomes have is a set of instructions for each part of the cell. How these protein-instructions are carried out is the work of other organelles which facilitate the process.

Hope this helps! How would the nucleus of a cell relate to the residents of a house?
Umm, the information/knowledge that the resident's have about the home and appliances allow them to be used? Your answer should be fine with just the people controlling the house. Going deeper into the genetic information shouldn't be necessary hope i helped!
