How to past a picture or object into the cell and have the cell automatically expand?

Is there a way that when I paste a picture (copy and paste a pic) into an excel spreadsheet cell and have the cell automatically expand to what I just pasted? I understand this can be done for text, but can it be done for pics I paste into it? And can it be done when embedding an object?

As opposed to 'text', you don't really 'paste a picture into an Excel spreadsheet cell'. Objects inserted/embedded into an Excel spreadsheet actually 'float' above the worksheet. You can size the rows/columns to make it appear that an object resides 'in' the cell, but it does not.
